This solid silicone tamping mat is 3mm thick and protects your work surface from unwanted damage caused by the portafilter. The outer edge is 6mm thick, so coffee grounds don't slip off the mat and your countertop stays clean. In one corner there is a round indentation for your tamper. The silicone is food-safe.
