Regarding the scale's timer function:

The timer is started manually by pressing a button, e.g., at the beginning of coffee brewing. It can be stopped manually at any time, or by the automatic shut-off function, which immediately stops the timer when the weight (e.g., cup) is vertically lifted from the weighing platform. In both cases, the stopped time value is displayed until the timer is manually reset to ZERO by pressing a button.
