The Fairtrade organic coffee captivates with its balanced acidity, which is why it enjoys a particularly good reputation among coffee connoisseurs. It is full-bodied with a spicy-soft note and fine nutty aromas.

Peru is a small producing country, mostly organized in cooperatives that predominantly produce organic coffee. Harvest times for ripe coffee varieties are from April to October. Here too, the coffee is hand-picked. 98 percent of the coffee is grown by small farmers in forest areas. Due to the political situation and economic conditions, coffee production is not as successful as in neighboring Brazil.
